Welcome

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Named GPs for all patients

All patients have now been allocated a named GP. Your named GP will have overall responsibility for the care and support that our surgery provides to you. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice as you normally do.

To find out your named GP please come into the surgery and ask at Reception, or email your request to banbury.hc@nhs.net

Choose Well Campaign

An education campaign, known as ‘Choose Well’ was launched earlier this month to help people understand where to go for urgent health advice. A Choose Well App is also available which signposts people to local health services with information about when the services are open and how to find the service closest to you.

Online records

Patient Online – Patient online services include booking appointments online, ordering repeat prescriptions online and viewing a summary of your medical record. Many patients already use the appointment service and repeat prescription service. If you are aged 18 years or over, you can now view a summary of your records online by requesting access to them online or in the surgery. Your summary record will include your current medications, allergies and immunisations. Being able to see this information may help you to manage your medical conditions. To request access to your record summary please come to the surgery and complete the form. You will then be provided with login details, you will need to create your own password so that it is unique to you. It is your responsibility to keep this secure. Any information you print out is your responsibility to keep secure, if you are worried about this we recommend you do not print out your record. If you suspect your record has been accessed by someone you have not agreed should see it, change your password immediately or contact the practice to stop access to your records.
